The long-awaited announcement is over as we bring to you the winner of our RevolutionNow essay from our top-three.
The movement, in its official release on Thursday, had narrowed down its entries to three outstanding essays and subjected the ultimate winner to public perception in a poll.
Social media users’ results in the poll, as attached below, saw Omole Ibukun emerge winner.
Omole Ibukun is to to receive the stipulated cash prize of N50,000.

Omole Ibukun is a socialist feminist writer, poet, artiste, and activist. An alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, Omole was a student union leader and the National Secretary of the Education Rights Campaign. With poems published nationally and internationally, he has written political analysis and articles published by Guardian, Premium Times, etc. He is a political musician with few singles to his name.
