CORE Sets To Hold Discourse On Revolutionary Alternatives to Oppression, Exploitation

1 min read

Ahead of the national and global action to take place on October 1st, 2020, the Coalition for Revolution(CORE) sets to hold a virtual discussion on a revolutionary alternative to liberate citizens from exploitation and oppression.

According to the movement, “Nigeria is a very rich country, but also the country with the largest number of poor people in the world. This is because a few vagabonds in power are looting us. They steal our wealth and burden us with increased fuel pump price, electricity tariffs, and bank charges, stamp duty taxes and VAT. Job cuts, poor wages, terrible public healthcare and insecurity have been “normal” for working-class people.”

It, therefore, calls out on the general public to join in the conversation against attacks on the poor masses, against elites’ and political looting, and actively push for an overhaul in the corrupt system.
